All Points North plc ("the Company")



The Company has received notification from the Financial Ombudsman Service that
it has found in favour of the Company in the matter of the Company's complaint
about Norwich Union Insurance Limited ("Norwich Union").



The complaint related to a fire at the Company's property at 45 Highgate, Kendal
which occurred on 17 July 2005.  The final decision of the Financial Ombudsman
Service was to uphold the Company's complaint and require that Norwich Union
deal with an insurance claim from the Company and pay compensation of #100,000
(which is the maximum limit enforceable by the Financial Ombudsman Service) plus
interest of 8% per annum from the date of the fire.



In addition the Financial Ombudsman Service recommends that if the claim exceeds
#100,000 (which the Directors believe will be in the region of #300,000 -
#500,000) that Norwich Union pay the balance of the claim plus interest of 8%
per annum from the date of the fire.



Once the board has negotiated the claim with Norwich Union it will make a
further announcement.
