27/3/2006 07:19 | steve, would agree cash call seems inevitable - the thing will be whether its made on the back of a contract win, or on the hope/expectation of something in the pipeline. being an optimist i'll opt for the former rather than later scenario... | fegga
26/3/2006 21:17 | Dibbs, I mean that this will move north when we have more of these contracts that are currently being negotiated in place. (I think the business has a product and infrastructure that mobile companies will increasingly want/need as 3G builds up). Deals never seem to happen as fast as companies initially hope... but as long as deals do happen thats the point. | jacobjohn7
26/3/2006 21:13 | How you doing steve. only got me toe in myself steve. But still would rather not have it burnt.. lol. Its one of those wait for the impending contracts ones, as with alot of micro caps we have to wait for the deals to materialise for any decent movement. The price will ebb and flow until that time. | jacobjohn7
26/3/2006 20:03 | Glad i only dipped my toe in here, i'm afraid i agree with Dibbs and can see a cash call looming. I'm going to keep my small holding to keep it on my watch list for if it turnsaround but wont be topping up until the company is profitable and has adequate reserves. | steve prest

26/3/2006 18:38 | JJ, I think that you are wrong if you think that the price will move up. Fridays update was issued after the close as it is in effect a profit warning. They have tried to dress it up with the usual, " but we have much to be positive about " kind of phrases. Expect a fall in the morning IMO. The market may expect a fund raising, at a price lower than fridays close IMO. Hope I'm wrong for holders here, but we will see. | dibbs
26/3/2006 12:27 | "The company continues to work on a number of exciting projects and the pipeline is growing with some encouraging deals in negotiation." As always, its this and the news flow from it, that will make the share price move in the right direction... and fast. Small market cap, with decent contract news it will move fast. | jacobjohn7
26/3/2006 11:46 | As usual insider selling in advance of the negative trading update was the reason for the fall. | dibbs
26/3/2006 10:38 | Trading Statement RNS Number:3994A All New Video PLC 24 March 2006 24th March 2006 Trading Update All New Video Plc All New Video Plc (ANV) has developed one of the largest mobile value added (3G) infrastructure networks in Europe, allowing mobile content providers and network operators to promote and develop their content over 3G mobile, IP and ISDN connections. The business consists of new 3G related services and more traditional video conferencing services. The high degree of resilience and quality demanded by our customers who include Orange and the recent projects for broadcasters and media companies have meant that ANV has built an infrastructure and capacity capable of addressing the growing demand for 3G services. ANV's relationship with Orange continues to go from strength to strength with more sophisticated network enhancements and services being implemented in the UK . The re-signing of the Video Call Termination contract with Orange for a further two years has led to discussions with other France Telecom mobile businesses which are in varying stages of development. This investment and the slower than expected growth in content driven traffic over our managed services has led the company to change its business model to a fixed subscription model and revenue sharing for future improved traffic volumes rather than just rely upon a revenue sharing model with clients. ANV has signed a number of contracts with network operators and content providers which include the mobile operator Orange and the morning breakfast television company GMTV. As a result of the investment that it is making, the company is not currently profitable. The company has taken action to reduce costs and preserve cash reserves; the current cash position is #219,000. Outlook The company continues to work on a number of exciting projects and the pipeline is growing with some encouraging deals in negotiation. The Board has been disappointed with the growth and uptake of services but has taken the necessary short term action to enable the company to convert the pipeline of prospects into sales. - ENDS - | jacobjohn7
