Potential Linked Top up Offer

The Board of Albion Technology & General VCT PLC wishes to announce that it is 
considering plans, in conjunction with the Boards of the other VCTs managed by 
Albion Ventures LLP, to launch a linked top up offer of new shares in October 
2010. 
 
 
 
The Albion VCTs Linked Top up Offer is aiming to raise up to  GBP15m, of which 
Albion Technology & General VCT PLC's share will be approximately  GBP2.25m. The 
proceeds will be used to provide further resources at a time when a number of 
attractive investment opportunities are being seen. 
 
 
 
A more detailed announcement regarding the formal launch of the offer will be 
made towards the end of October 2010 and at that time, an offer document will be 
sent to shareholders.
