                            SKYWEST AIRLINES UPDATE



The Board of Advent Air, which owns and operates Australian based Skywest
Airlines Pty Ltd ("Skywest"), is pleased to announce an update today on
Skywest's intentions to expand its existing fleet, the launch of a new route
between Kalgoorlie and Melbourne and expansion plans for the airline.



Fleet Expansion

Skywest Airlines has signed a letter of intent to lease a further two Fokker 100
jets adding to the Company's existing Perth-based fleet of ten jet and propjet
aircraft to increase the total fleet to 12 aircraft.



Lease agreements for these two aircraft have yet to be signed. The delivery
program is still being worked through with the first of the two aircraft
expected to enter service in late September followed by the second in November.
  A sixth jet is on the agenda for early 2008.



Jeff Chatfield, Chairman of Advent Air commented: "Once a delivery date has been
confirmed and the lease agreements are signed, the airline will be in the
position to announce increased services and additional routes. This announcement
is great news for the Western Australia market and the leasing of these
additional aircraft will facilitate exciting growth for Skywest Airlines"



New Route

Skywest Airlines will be launching three flights a week between Kalgoorlie and
Melbourne in October in a move that taps into the lucrative resources market.
The introduction of the Kalgoorlie-Melbourne route will be the first time the
Goldfields city has been linked to Victoria and will mark the first direct
flight between Kalgoorlie and the Eastern States since Qantas dropped its
Kalgoorlie-Adelaide flights in May 2003.



Mr Chatfield, commented: "The mining industry has a need to source people from
Melbourne because quite frankly they are finding it hard to get people in
Western Australia, they're almost out of that resource."



"Kalgoorlie only had a direct flight service to Perth. Whilst the
Kalgoorlie-Melbourne service is obviously focused on helping the mining
community fly-in fly-out, it also gives the local community a lot of access to
Melbourne for the sporting and cultural events and it also has linkages to New
Zealand as well."



Expansion Plans

In line with expansion plans, Skywest started services to Port Hedland in early
July amid plans to launch a Karratha-Perth route and ramp up services to
Exmouth, Broome and Darwin later this year. Mr Chatfield said the proposed
Broome-Singapore route remained on the drawing board as "Broome did not have
sufficient facilities to handle international services".
