Result of General Meeting 
 
Advance UK Trust plc announces that, at the General Meeting held earlier today, 
the resolution was passed.  Accordingly, the Company has now passed into 
members' voluntary liquidation (solvent liquidation), the Directors' powers have 
ceased and the Liquidators have been appointed to wind up the Company's affairs 
and distribute its assets. 
 
In accordance with the Circular to Shareholders dated 19 February 2010, the 
Liquidators intend to make a first interim distribution to Shareholders in the 
week commencing 26 April 2010.  As noted in the Circular, the Manager has been 
retained to realise the Company's portfolio of investments and this process is 
ongoing.  It is currently anticipated that the realisation process will not take 
longer than 12 months. 
 
The Directors' confirmed at the meeting that the Charity to which any final de 
minimis distribution amounts be paid will be Mental Health Residential Limited 
(Registered Charity No: 1038726).
