Xylitol Canada Inc. Announces Results of Annual General and Special Meeting of Shareholders

Xylitol Canada Inc. ("Xylitol Canada", or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:XYL) is
pleased to announce the successful completion of its annual general and special
meeting held on July 17, 2014 (the "Meeting"). 


The Company had 31.5% of its issued and outstanding common shares represented at
the Meeting either in person or by proxy. At the Meeting, shareholders voted to
approve the Company's stock option plan, which is done annually, and also
approved the re-appointment of MNP LLP as auditors of the Company for the
ensuing year. In addition, shareholders appointed the following directors to the
board of directors of the Company to hold office until the next annual
shareholder's meeting or until a successor is elected: Andrew Reid, Tom Kierans,
Roger Daher, and Horst Hueniken.
