Canadian Overseas Petroleum Announces Upcoming Investor Events

Canadian Overseas Petroleum Limited ("COPL" or the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:XOP),
announces that it will be participating in the following events for the month of
September:




--  FirstEnergy/Societe Generale Global Energy Conference, September 16th
    and 17th in London.

--  Hydrocarbon One2One Forum, 6pm September 18th at the May Fair Hotel,
    London.



COPL's CEO, Mr. Arthur Millholland, and CFO, Mr. Christopher McLean, will be
