WELLSTAR ENERGY CORP. (TSX VENTURE:WSE.H) ("WellStar", or the "Company"), at the
request of Investment Industry Regulatory Organization of Canada, the national
self-regulatory organization which oversees all investment dealers and trading
activity on debt and equity marketplaces in Canada, confirms that it is not
aware of any material undisclosed developments or information that would account
for its recent rise in stock price or result in today's increased market trading
activity of WellStar's shares.


No material changes or events have taken place that have not been previously
disclosed.
