 CALGARY, Nov. 9, 2011 /CNW/ - Effective immediately, Valparaiso Energy  Inc. (the "Corporation") (VPO.H) announces the appointment of Mr. Norman J. Mackenzie as Chief  Executive Officer.  Mr. Mackenzie continues in his role as Chairman of  the Corporation, a position held since February 20, 1998. 

 Also effective immediately, the Corporation announces the resignation of  Mr. William J. Wylie as Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Wylie continues  in his role as President of Valparaiso Energy Inc.
