Vanoil Received Approval to Extend Warrant Expiry Date

Vanoil Energy Ltd. ("Vanoil") (TSX VENTURE:VEL) is pleased to announce that the
TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") has consented today to the extension in
the expiry date of the following share purchase warrants (the "Warrants"): (i)
4,025,818 Warrants expiring August 2, 2014; (ii) 4,291,666 Warrants expiring
August 10, 2014; and (iii) 56,423 Warrants expiring August 21, 2014. The
8,373,937 Warrants exercisable at a price of CDN$1.00 have all been extended to
August 2, 2017. 


These Warrants were issued pursuant to a private placement of 8,373,937 Units
with 8,373,937 Warrants attached, which was accepted for filing by the Exchange
effective August 9, 2012 and August 24, 2012. 


In all other respects, the terms of the Warrants will remain unchanged and in
full force and effect.
