United Announces Director Resignation

S. Jorstad, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of United Protection
Security Group Inc. ("UPSG" or "the Company"), a Canadian based company, trading
on the TSX Venture Exchange, under the symbol (TSX VENTURE:UZZ) announces the
resignation of Fred Fong, C.A, B.Comm from his position as a Director of the
Company. Mr. Fong has resigned to enable him to focus on his newly appointed
position as President and Chief Executive Officer of First National Alarmcap
Income Fund, an unincorporated, open-ended, limited purpose trust listed on the
Toronto Stock Exchange, under the symbol. Mr. Fong has served on UPSG's Board of
Directors since 2007.


Mr. Jorstad states that Mr. Fong, as the former Executive Vice President and CFO
of VoxCom Incorporated was a valued member of the Board of Directors of UPSG and
an advisor to The Company since 2006 as well as being a key member of the Audit
Committee and Chairman of the Acquisition Committee.


His contributions as a Board Member had significant impact on the growth and
expansion of the Company at a time in its transition from a private to a Public
Company that has established the imprint of UPSG as a major player in the
private security industry in Western Canada, with national and international
scope.
