UNITED PROTECTION SECURITY GROUP INC. - F. RAMSOONDAR APPOINTED AS CO-CEO

EDMONTON, Dec. 16 /CNW/ -- 
EDMONTON, Dec. 16 /CNW/ - S.Jorstad, Chairman and Chief Executive
 Officer of United Protection Security Group Inc. (UPSG or the Company),
 (TSX-V:UZZ) is pleased to announces that Fredy Ramsoondar has been
 appointed as CO-CEO of the Company, effective January 1, 2011.


Mr.Ramsoondar has been a key member of the management team since joining
 the Company in December 1999. He has been the Executive Vice President
 and Chief Financial Officer since 2005, a position he will continue to
 hold in addition to his new appointment.


Mr. Jorstad states "Fredy's extensive professional and industry
 experience enables him to contribute in a significant way to the long
 term growth strategies of the Company. His focus will be on growth in
 the advanced electronic security sector which with his strong financial
 and business background, will be fundamental to the Company's growth
 strategy over the next five years".


Mr. Ramsoondar will become involved in the development of acquisition
 and strategic marketing concepts while leading the financing and
 raising of capital for the Company.
