TrinCan Capital Corp.: Announces Appointment of Director

TrinCan Capital Corp. (TSX VENTURE:TRN.P) ("TRN") is pleased to announce that
Mr. Raymond M. Ashley has been appointed as a director of the Corporation,
subject to TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") approval. Mr. Ashley, through
his employment at Ashley Geoscience, currently provides geological and
geophysical consulting services to clients in uranium, copper, gold and diamond
exploration throughout Canada. Prior thereto, Mr. Ashley was previously the Vice
President Exploration of Diamondex Resources Ltd. from 2007 to 2009 and prior
thereto the Senior Vice President, Exploration of Trigon Uranium Corp. Mr.
Ashley is a Professional Geophysicist and a member of the Association of
Professional Engineers Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA). Mr.
Ashley holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Solid Earth Geophysics from McGill
University.


TRN, a capital pool company within the meaning of the policies of the Exchange
and is listed on the Exchange. TRN does not have any operations and has no
assets other than cash. TRN's business is to identify and evaluate businesses
and assets with a view to completing a Qualifying Transaction under the policies
of the Exchange.
