Citrus Golf Club reports over 22% energy savings

VANCOUVER, July 20, 2015 /CNW/ - Smartcool Systems Inc. (TSX-V:SSC)(OTCQB-SSCFF) is pleased to announce that the company has completed a successful installation and has already confirmed significant energy savings at the clubhouse of The Citrus Club in La Quinta, California. The installation, completed in late May, has produced savings of over 22% of the air conditioning systems run time, exceeding the expectations of the Citrus Club management.

General Manager at The Citrus Club, stated, "With electricity rates continually climbing, and the significant need for air conditioning at the Club given the ambient climate in the desert city of La Quinta, we are always looking for ways to reduce both our operating costs and reduce our carbon footprint. Along with the installation at the Clubhouse, two residences in the gated Citrus Club community were also installed. Initial 30 day results have averaged air conditioning run time savings of over 20%.  The Citrus club is home to over 600 houses and vacation villas with an estimated 1200 air conditioning units.
