CALGARY, Feb. 23 /CNW/ - Stealth Ventures Ltd. ("Stealth" or the
"Company") (TSXV: SLV) is pleased to announce the establishment of an
International Advisory Board (IAB) to give the Company the opportunity
to draw on the strengths and relationships of certain key individuals,
located in India, to strengthen the Company's activities by providing
their skills and expertise, as the Company expands its footprint in
India and SE Asia. A brief profile of each of the individuals in the
IAB is appended.
Mr. K. N. VENKATASUBRAMANIAN, a senior technocrat with over 40 years of experience in the oil & gas
industry in India and internationally, is a specialist in all
processing related activities. He started his career with Philips
Petroleum and has since been involved in senior positions in Indian
Petrochemicals Corporation Ltd., Engineers India Ltd., State Trading
Corporation, and retired as Chairman of Indian Oil Corporation; the
largest refining company in India. He sits on various Boards like Essar
Oil, Gulf Oil, East India Petroleum, to name a few. His advice and
assistance will help leverage the Company's technical strengths for its
business internationally.
Mr. R. C. SHAH, a Geologist by training has worked with ONGC Ltd. (National Oil
Company of India) for over 30 years before he established his own
consulting company in India. His 40 plus years of experience as a
specialist in reservoir evaluation, assessment, engineering and
monitoring has helped him to understand the regional geology and the
related plays in India and S.E. Asia and he has been involved in the
successes of companies like Niko, GSPC, Pan Orient, Selan Exploration
etc. His knowledge of the sub-surface geology of the region will help
the Company build the right acreage in India.
Mr. P. MURARI is a retired officer of the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), India's
prestigious and elite Civil Services cadre that is involved in policy
making and implementation of the Government of India's public programs.
His has held several key positions in the Government during his tenure
and his last assignment, before superannuation, was Secretary to The
President of India. He now sits in various Boards of public companies,
including the largest oil & gas drilling company in India. He is also
the Adviser to The Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry
(FICCI) and the President of the Indo American Chamber of Commerce. His
invaluable advice will help build on the Company's India and
international strategies.
Mr. C. N. RAMDAS is a retired IAS officer and has held several key assignments within the
Provincial and Federal Governments, in India. His last assignment
before superannuation was as Secretary, Ministry of Surface Transport;
the ministry that formulated policies and implemented all
infrastructure related projects like, roads, bridges, ports etc., in
India. He has since been advising companies like Mobil, Command
Petroleum, Indian Oil Tanking, Cairn Energy and such other
organizations for establishing and promoting their businesses in India.
He is a strategist who provides the right advice and assistance to
build the Company's business growth in India and the region.
The tenure of the IAB will be for an initial period of 1 year and it
will be renewed and extended from time to time, besides being
strengthened with additional persons of eminence, to help implement and
achieve the corporate and technical objectives of the Company.
