 CALGARY, April 24, 2012 /CNW/ - Ria Resources Corp. ("RIA" or the  "Corporation") announces that it has made an application for, and has  been granted, an order from the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta  permitting it to hold its previously announced annual general and  special meeting ("AGM"") outside of the 15 month period permitted under  the Business Corporations Act (Alberta).  Accordingly, there are no changes to the previously issued  notice of meeting setting forth the date, time and place of the AGM.   The AGM will be held on Friday, April 27, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. (MDT) at  1500, 407-2(nd) Street S.W., Calgary, Alberta. 

 RIA is a company listed and trading on the TSX Venture Exchange, symbol:  RIA.
