the "Company") announces the following correction to its previously issued News
Release:


Further to the Company's News Release dated July 17, 2008, the Company's
reference to "resource potential" in the first paragraph is hereby retracted as
non-compliant under National Instrument 51-101.


Nexstar Energy is a junior oil and gas company that is focused on drilling
multi-zone crude oil and natural gas prospects in western Canada, complemented
