Nwest Energy Corp. [TSX-V: NWN] Announces Changes To Its Board Of Directors

HALIFAX, July 7, 2014 /CNW/ - NWest Energy Corp. ("NWest" or the "Company") (TSX-V: NWN) is pleased to announce that Mr. David Kushniruk has been elected to the Board of Directors (the "Board") for the upcoming year.  Mr. Kushniruk is a private business owner and entrepreneur based in Saskatchewan.

The Company also announces the resignation of Mr. James (Jim) Megann from the Board effective immediately.  Mr. Megann has been a director of the Company since 2012.  Mr. Kevin Aylward, Chief Executive Officer of NWest Energy commented, "On behalf of the Board of Directors and the Company's Management, I would like to thank Jim for his service as a non-executive director.  We wish him continued success and the best of luck in his future endeavors."
