Newton Energy Corporation Announces License Extensions

Newton Energy Corporation (TSX VENTURE:NTN) (the "Company" or "Newton")
announces that, further to its press release of February 4, 2014 in addition to
one-year extensions to Licences PEDL254 and PEDL208, a one year extension has
also been granted to License PEDL204 by the Department of Energy and Climate
Change of the Government of the United Kingdom. PEDL255 has been extended as a
result of the work commitments being met. The second term dates of the licenses
has not changed.
