Northcore Resources: Nomination of Director

Northcore Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE:NCR) announces that, subject to approval
by the TSX-Venture Exchange, it has nominated as a new member of its Board of
Directors. Scott (Taylor) Sebastian is a career pilot and has been flying
professionally since 1985. Mr. Sebastian currently works for one of Canada's
largest airlines. He has held several management and senior management positions
within the aviation industry, including Chief Pilot, Manager Flight Operations
and Director of Flight Operations for a large Canadian airline. Mr. Sebastian
participated in several construction and operational working committees with the
Greater Toronto Airport Authority- Toronto Pearson International Airport. He has
recently been acting as a consultant for airlift operators involved in
humanitarian aid within Central and East Africa regions.


For the last 10 years, Mr. Sebastian has worked in the mineral exploration
industry at the grass roots level. He has been instrumental in the research,
acquisition and development of mineral exploration properties within Canada and
particularly in the Province of Quebec. Taylor's Quebec exploration experience
includes the Opinaca region in the James Bay Area as well as the Val-d'Or and
Chibougamau areas. Taylor currently resides in Kelowna British Columbia, where
he manages a family business.


The Board of Directors of Northcore Resources Inc. is looking forward to

four (4) independent Directors: Terry Byberg, Garry Majerle, Taylor Sebastian
and Michel Lebeuf.
