Nuvolt Corporation Announces the Sale of a SmartScan Pro System

Nuvolt Corporation Inc. ("Nuvolt") (TSX VENTURE:NCO) is pleased to announce the
conclusion of the sale of a SmartScan Pro system to Hanor. 


Mr. Jacques Dion, President and CEO of Nuvolt, is proud of this accomplishment:
"This is a major endorsement of our SmartScan Pro technology and our engineering
expertise, with an important organization, in the hog farm market. This project
with one of the hog facilities of Hanor, located in Oklahoma, will increase our
visibility and help boosting our sales to the agriculture market. The issue is
to secure the water supply. The SmartScan Pro system monitors and manages motors
and the electrical network. Because of its predictive features, the system will
put under surveillance the submersible pumps of a certain number of wells and,
also, the booster pumps that distribute the water supply in the hog facilities."



Mr. Dave Wade, Vice-President of operations of Hanor was particularly interested
by the predictive features of the SmartScan Pro technology. Mr. Wade says: ''The
potential of monitoring strategic motors in a wide hog complex was a key element
in his decision. Motor failures could have major detrimental impact on the
performance of the complex. Furthermore, it is a good preventive maintenance
tool that allows Hanor to be proactive instead of reactive."
