Motapa Grants Incentive Stock Options

Motapa Diamonds Inc. (TSX VENTURE:MTP) has granted options to purchase 60,000
common shares in Motapa to non-executive directors. Each of six non-executive
directors have been granted an option to purchase 10,000 common shares in Motapa
within the next 24 months at an option exercise price of $0.21. The options are
granted in terms of Motapa's stock option plan and are subject to TSX Venture
Exchange policies.
