Hunter Bay Minerals Announces Proposed Debt Settlement

Hunter Bay Minerals plc ("Hunter Bay") (TSX VENTURE:HBY)(OTCQX:HTBNF) announces
that it proposes to settle outstanding indebtedness totaling $152,476 through
the issuance of 3,049,526 ordinary shares at a price of $0.05 per share. Of the
amount to be settled, $69,276 relates to accrued director and/or officer fees
and related party accounting fees.


Closing of the debt settlement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture
Exchange.
