Glamis Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:GLM.A) (TSX VENTURE:GLM.B) ("Glamis" or "the
Company") announces that at the Company's Annual General and Special Meeting
held on June 6, 2008 the following individuals were elected as directors: Mr.
Harley L. Winger, Chairman of Glamis and Partner of Burstall Winger; Mr. Stephen
P. Gibson, President & CEO of Great Plains Exploration; Mr. A. Scott Dawson,
President & CEO of Open Range Energy; Mr. Allen Emes, Independent Businessman
and Mr. J. Brent McKercher, President & CEO of Glamis.


Glamis Resources Ltd. is a junior oil and gas company formed to generate and
