Exceed Energy Announces Director Retirement

Exceed Energy Inc. (TSX VENTURE:EX.A) today announced that Mr. Miroslav
Jestrabik has retired from the board of directors as of June 25, 2009. Exceed
Energy (the "Company") extends its gratitude to Mr. Jestrabik for his years of
service and wishes him success in his other endeavors.
