Desmarais Energy Corporation (TSX VENTURE:DES) (the "Corporation") announces
that it has granted stock options to purchase an aggregate of 1,200,000 common
shares of the Corporation, at an exercise price of $0.10 per share. The stock
options were granted pursuant to the Corporation's stock option plan, are fully
vested upon issuance and shall expire 3 years from the date of issue. The stock
options were granted to directors and a consultant of the Corporation.
