Curlew Lake Resources Inc. Announces Drilling to Commence With Rig Scheduled to Arrive Today

   Curlew Lake Resources Inc. (TSX VENTURE: CWQ) (PINK SHEETS: CWLXF) announces well-site construction is complete for the FBA 9-14-57-24 W4M well, and a drilling rig is expected to arrive on site today, March 17th, 2011. The drilling target depth should be reached is less than one week.

The exploration hole is a New Pool Wildcat and is intended to evaluate a number of formations on the way to a target depth of 1116 metres. The primary targets in this well are at least two Ellerslie sedimentary channels.

A successful well will lead the way to a 3-D seismic survey on portions of Curlew lands in the township. Curlew Lake has a substantial position in Township 57, Range 24 West 4th Meridian that has not been shot using 3-D seismic and it is expected that multiple targets can be identified if 9-14 indicates a number of prospective targets.
