Cancana Announces Grant of Stock Options

Cancana Resources Corp. (TSX VENTURE:CNY) (the "Company" or "Cancana") is
pleased to announce that the board of directors of the Company has approved the
grant of an aggregate of 3,500,000 options (the "Options") to purchase common
shares of the Company to the directors of the Company. The Option are
exercisable at a price of $0.23 per common share and on such terms and
conditions as set out in the Company's stock option plan. All Options granted
and any common shares issued upon their due exercise will be subject to a
statutory four-month hold period. The granting of the Options are subject to
regulatory acceptance of applicable filings.
