BluePoint Data, Inc. Announces Election of New Board Member

BluePoint Data, Inc. (TSX VENTURE:BLP), an established information technology
provider of both onsite and remote "Cloud", Managed Server, Electronic Data
Storage, System Availability, and Data Protection services, announced the
re-election of Bob Yakimetz to the Board of Directors during its June 30, 2011
Annual Shareholders' Meeting that took place in Boca Raton, FL USA. He brings to
BluePoint over 25 years of experience in the technology industry. 


Mr. Yakimetz returns to the BluePoint Data, Inc. Board of Directors after having
served from June 30, 2004 to June 30, 2007 when Michael Baker and Chris Pyle
joined the Board in connection with the Company's acquisition of Champion
Managed Services ("CMS") for US$5.4M. Messieurs Baker and Pyle did not stand for
re-election during the June 30, 2010 Annual Shareholders' Meeting and the
Company welcomes Bob Yakimetz' return as its second Independent Director. 


The balance of the Board of the Directors elected on June 30, 2011 and serving
as of the date of this press release consists of Independent Director Ian
Sutcliffe; Paul Sachse, CEO; and Vance Kistler, CFO & Corporate Secretary. There
are currently 44,423,405 BLP common shares outstanding as of the date of this
release.
