Clearford Water Systems announces agreement to defer interest payment

OTTAWA, ON, June 11, 2020 /CNW/ - Clearford Water Systems Inc. ("Clearford" or the "Company"), (TSX-V: CLI), today announced that it has agreed with its lenders to defer interest payments which would otherwise be due until June 30th, 2020.

The deferral relates to its long-terms loans whereby interest payments on C$158,000 and US$1,116,478 which would otherwise be due.

The Company's debt investors feel it is prudent to the preserve cash flows for operations during the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure that the Company can continue to provide uninterrupted services to its customers. As previously announced on March 23^rd 2020, the Company continues to explore strategic opportunities to assist it in restructuring its capital structure which efforts have also been delayed by the recent pandemic.
