Circumpacific Reaches Agreement Re Overpayment Kakwa Gas Unit

Further to its press release dated January 22, 2010 Circumpacific Energy
Corporation ("Circumpacific") (TSX VENTURE:CER) announces it has reached
agreement with the operator of the Kakwa Main Gas Unit with respect to an
overpayment to the Unit partners that resulted from an error in allocation of
revenues. Circumpacific's share of the adjustment was determined by the operator
to be $339,165.


Circumpacific will make minimum monthly payments of $20,000.00 (Cdn.) to the
operator commencing May 1, 2010 for a period to not exceed 17 months and the
full amount is repaid. Circumpacific may at its option increase the amount or
frequency of its payments. Circumpacific has reserved the right to audit the
operator's records.
