Amalgamation of BV! Media with a subsidiary of Rogers Media is complete

MONTREAL, Oct 1 /CNW/ -- 
      MONTREAL, Oct 1 /CNW Telbec/ - BV! Media Inc. (TSX-V: BVM, "BV! Media")
      is pleased to announce that the proposed amalgamation (the
      "Amalgamation") of BV! Media with 7557175 Canada Inc., a wholly-owned
      subsidiary of Rogers Media Inc., was completed today.
    

      The completion follows the approval of the Amalgamation by the
      shareholders of BV! Media at the special meeting of the Corporation's
      shareholders held on September 29, 2010.
    

      The common shares of BV! Media are being delisted from the TSX Venture
      and BV! Media will become a private company.
    

      In connection with the Amalgamation, all shareholders will receive one
      redeemable share (an "Amalco Redeemable Share") of the amalgamated
      corporation ("Amalco") for each share of BV! Media held immediately
      prior to the Amalgamation. Each Amalco Redeemable Share will,
      immediately after the Amalgamation, be redeemed for $0.40 payable in
      cash by Amalco.
    

      The amalgamated corporation will continue under the BV! Media Inc. name.
