Banks Island Gold Ltd. Grants Stock Options

Banks Island Gold Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:BOZ) (the "Company") announces that it has
granted 1,520,000 incentive stock options to directors, officers, consultants,
and employees of the Company. The options, which are subject to the terms and
conditions of the Company's stock option plan, may be exercised at a price of
$0.50 per share for a term of 5 years.


The Company is a mining company focused on gold production, exploration, and
development of economically viable mineral resources. The Company's mineral
