CALGARY, July 4, 2011 /CNW/ - Bellamont Exploration Ltd. ("Bellamont" or
 the "Corporation") (TSXV: BMX.A, BMX.B) is pleased announce the
 appointment of Mr. Peter O'Leary, P. Geol. as Vice President,
 Exploration.


Mr. O'Leary has over 22 years of oil and gas experience, in roles of
 increasing responsibility, including senior management.  Most recently,
 Mr. O'Leary was a Vice President of a public intermediate oil and gas
 producer.  Mr. O'Leary has previously worked with several of
 Bellamont's senior management team and his geological expertise, with a
 recent concentration on the Montney Formation, is very complimentary to
 Bellamont's key focus areas of the Peace River Arch of Alberta and
 British Columbia.


The Corporation has granted 700,000 stock options to Mr. O'Leary
 pursuant to its stock option plan.  These options were issued at a
 price of $0.50 per share, Bellamont's closing price as of June 30,
 2011. The options are exercisable over a five year period and vest over
 three years.
