(TSX VENTURE:BEY) (the "Corporation") is pleased to announce the appointment of Derek Batorowski as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation effective September 1, 2012. Mr. Batorowski is a senior financial executive with twenty years of experience in the oil and gas and mineral exploration industries. He has held director and senior financial management positions with both public and private small oil and gas producers, and national and international mineral exploration companies. He currently provides financial reporting services and is Chief Financial Officer of Westcore Energy Ltd. and Bacanora Minerals Ltd., both companies listed on the TSX Venture Exchange. Mr. Batorowski holds a Certified General Accountants (CGA) designation. Anna Lentz has resigned as Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation to pursue other opportunities. Blacksteel is a junior oil and gas company involved in the exploration, exploitation, development and production of petroleum and natural gas resources in Alberta. The Corporation has a working interest in a natural gas producing property in the Grassland area of Alberta and a 100% working interest in a four section petroleum and natural gas lease in the Del Bonita Area of Southern Alberta. Any failure to comply with this restriction may constitute a violation of U.S. Securities Laws.
