Axe Exploration Inc. Closes a $116,019.96 Private Placement

Axe Exploration Inc. (TSX VENTURE:AXQ) (the "Corporation") is pleased to
announce the closing of a non-brokered Private Placement for aggregate proceeds
of CAN$116,019.96 (the "Placement"). 


The Placement is comprised of 1,657,428 flow-through common shares at a price of
$0.07 per unit.


The securities issued under this Offering will be subject to a
four-month-and-one-day hold period expiring on April 21, 2014 pursuant to
applicable securities legislation and the rules of the TSX Venture Exchange. 


The proceeds of the Placement will be used to finance exploration work on Axe
Exploration's properties.


The common shares of Axe Exploration Inc. are listed on the Venture Stock
Exchange under the symbol "AXQ".
