Atikwa Resources Inc. Provides Court Proceedings Update

Atikwa Resources Inc. (the "Company") (TSX VENTURE:ATK) announces that further
to the news release dated December 22,2013 the Court has adjourned a decision on
the Receivership and Adjournment Applications until January 10, 2014. The
Company's Adjournment Application is until February 15, 2014 to allow the
interested parties to perform their due diligence and to prepare their funding
to replace the current secured lender.
