American Natural Energy Corporation Announces Date for Annual General Meeting

TULSA, OK, Sept. 29 /CNW/ -- TULSA, OK, Sept. 29 /CNW/ - American Natural Energy Corporation ("ANEC") (TSX Venture: ANR.U) announces that it will hold its Annual General Meeting ("AGM") on November 30, 2010 at its offices in Tulsa, Oklahoma. ANEC held its last AGM in January 2009 and is in default of TSX Venture Exchange policies requiring a period of no more than 15 months between meetings.

ANEC is a Tulsa, Oklahoma based independent exploration and production company with operations in St. Charles Parish, Louisiana.
