Adira Energy announces completion of share consolidation

TORONTO, Aug. 9, 2013 /CNW/ - ADIRA ENERGY LTD. (TSXV: ADL) (OTCBB: ADENF) (FRANKFURT: AORLB8).  Adira Energy Ltd. ("Adira" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that it has completed the consolidation of its common shares (the "Common Shares") on the basis of one (1) post-consolidation Common Share for every three (3) pre-consolidation Common Shares (the "Consolidation"). The Company received TSX Venture Exchange (the "Exchange") approval for the Consolidation on August 9, 2013.

In connection with the Consolidation, the Company has filed Articles of Amendment. The Consolidation will be effective for trading purposes on August 13, 2013, under the current trading symbol: TSX-V: ADL and OTCBB: ADENF. Following the Consolidation, the Company will have approximately 60,260,318 issued and outstanding common shares.
