Abington Drops Nevada Gold Property

Abington Resources Ltd. (TSX VENTURE:ABL)(PINKSHEETS:ABIZF) Barry Underhill,
President announces the Company has cancelled its lease on the Juniper gold
property in Pershing County, Nevada. 


"The dropping of the property in no way reflects on the potential of the
property, but is indicative of the current economic climate that persists with
regard to early stage mineral exploration projects," cited Mr. Underhill.


Company management is still bullish on gold and will be reviewing precious
metals projects as the economic situation improves.


Abington continues to receive positive cash flow on its interest in two separate
oil fields in Saskatchewan, Canada.


ABINGTON RESOURCES LTD. is engaged in the acquisition, exploration, development
and production of precious metals and natural resources. The Company has no debt
(other than short-term payables) and derives an income from oil wells in Western
Canada.
