Actus Minerals Appoints New Officer

  Actus Minerals Corp. (TSX VENTURE: AAC) ("the "Company" or "Actus") has appointed Carl von Einsiedel, a director of the Company, as the President and Chief Executive Officer of Actus effective March 4, 2010.

Carl von Einsiedel, P.Geo, is a Canadian exploration geologist with an extensive background in gold and base metal exploration in Canada and north-western Mexico. Mr. von Einsiedel has managed a wide range of exploration programs for various junior mining companies. Mr. von Einsiedel is currently the VP Exploration for UC Resources Ltd.

The Company would also like to announce the resignation of Jack Bal as a director, the President and Chief Executive Officer of Company. The Company would like to thank Mr. Bal for his hard work and wishes him well in his future endeavors.
