William G. Pagonis and Harold R. Curtis Elected to RailAmerica, Inc. Board of Directors

Stockholders of RailAmerica, Inc. (NYSE:RRA) elected two
directors at its annual meeting of stockholders held today in Boca
Raton.

   Elected to three-year terms are:

   William G. Pagonis, Chairman of the Board of Directors of
RailAmerica, Inc. since August 2004 and a director of RailAmerica
since February 2000.
   Harold R. Curtis, former Executive Vice President and 
Chief Financial Officer of The MARC Group. Mr. Curtis has been 
a director since October 2004.
