Educate Products Names Jinny Goldstein Vice President of Education and Strategy

E-Learning Pioneer Will Join Leading Provider of Educational Services and Products 


BALTIMORE, March 3  /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Educate, Inc., a leading pre- K-12 education services company, today named Jinny Goldstein as Vice President of Education and Strategy of its Educate Products division, where she will help identify, define and execute opportunities to provide valuable educational programs, products and services that inspire in children a lifelong love of learning. Goldstein will also create and strengthen relationships with government agencies and education organizations that share Educate Products' mission to help all children become successful learners. Formerly Senior Vice President for Education of the Public Broadcasting Service (PBS) and President of PBS The Business Channel, Goldstein is a national leader in finding new and exciting ways to increase children's access to quality educational programming and services.

Before that, during her more than 20-year tenure with PBS, she created PBS Education, a new corporate division that consolidated and expanded PBS' formal lifelong learning services and activities, expanded its Ready To Learn early childhood education service, launched TeacherLine, an innovative teacher professional development service and played a key role in creating and growing the Adult Learning Service, the first nationally-coordinated distance learning service. Goldstein also secured major government and private grants, strengthened public television's relationships with national education organizations and federal agencies and supported local PBS stations in providing educational services to their communities.

Goldstein holds a master's degree in politics of education from Teachers College, Columbia University and a bachelor's degree in political science from New York University.
