Syntax-Brillian Corporation (NASDAQ:BRLC) today announced that on May 6,
the NASDAQ Listing Qualifications Panel granted the Company’s
request for continued listing on The NASDAQ Stock Market,
notwithstanding the delay in the filing of the Company’s
Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the period ended December 31, 2007
(the “December Form 10-Q”).
In addition to addressing other items pertaining to the Audit Committee,
the Panel’s decision requires the Company to
file the December Form 10-Q by July 31, 2008. During this period, the
securities of Syntax-Brillian will remain listed on The NASDAQ Global
Market.
“In addition to the NASDAQ matter, we are also
focusing on the continuity of our business and continue to fulfill
orders from retailers for our Olevia and Vivitar products in preparation
for their Fourth of July and Back to School promotions,”

anticipate continued demand as we plan the launch of new Olevia and
Vivitar products which are currently in our development pipeline for
availability later this year.”
