DEARBORN, Mich., Jan. 7  /PRNewswire/ -- In under 24 months, Visteon and Boston
Acoustics have teamed up to deliver the premium audio system in the all-new
Chrysler 300.  The audio system blends Visteon Corporation's  Digital Signal
Processing (DSP) and sound management capability with Boston Acoustics'  speaker
design and acoustic expertise, bringing the "Boston Sound"(TM) into the
vehicle.

Visteon's knowledge of automotive acoustics is key to capturing the best sound
possible for each unique vehicle -- creating a complete sound system that makes
the most of Boston's high-quality speakers.  Visteon's DSP system optimizes the
listening environment of the vehicle using sound equalization and audio delays.

Sound System

The available Chrysler 300 Boston Premium Audio System will contain 6 or 7
speakers, subwoofers, and a 288 or 380-watt amplifier for what will be the
"Boston Sound" as heard in the new Chrysler 300 lineup.

The Chrysler 300 is just the start.  The Chrysler Group will also offer the
Boston-branded audio systems for the all-new Dodge Magnum.  Visteon believes
this system will offer customers and consumers a custom-fit audio system direct
from the factory designed to give drivers and passengers a sense of "being
there" as they listen to the music.
