Extract from yesterday's budget statement which should be beneficial to DSX going forward:

They have partnered with Emis . With a market cap of 1.9 million why didn't they buy them ?

Yes, Aquis is not ideal and it is certainly a liquid market for many (but not all) of the component shares. Although having said that, it is better than it used to be a few years ago. It's a shame that a number of larger online brokers do not provide a facility for retail investors to deal in Aquis listed shares, if they did, I suspect liquidity would improve somewhat.

I will be locked in to DXS for three years if I wish to benefit from the generous EIS tax breaks (which I do), so I'm not overly concerned by the current liquidity issue. However, I will try to attend the AGM (November or December) and ask them (among other things) on how they intend to address the liuidity issue - switching from Aquis to AIM would probably be a good start.

Soon as you see Aquis it's a slam dunk avoid sadly.

There is no liquidity, mental spreads, you need like 100-200% rises just to make a small profit.

I have Otaq, 4-7p spread, the company bought 23k at 6.5p Friday and the mm's failed my sell order of just 15k at 4p, if they are that bad then I cannot see any point in touching anything on it.

Company itself might be decent.
