Retirement of Dr. Karen Hester as Director and Chief Operating Officer

Adnams plc (the "Company") announces that, after more than 35 years at the Company, Dr. Karen Hester intends to retire as a director and Chief Operating Officer of the Company on 6 April 2024.

Jonathan Adnams OBE, Chairman said:

"Over the 35 years that Karen has been with the Company, Karen has provided invaluable support in her different roles with unwavering dedication and commitment. Everyone at Adnams wishes her health, happiness and success in the future."

Dr. Andy Wood OBE DL, Chief Executive said:

"Karen has been part of the Adnams business family from before even I joined the Company. I am pleased to say that, in keeping with Karen's own progression through the Adnams business, members of Karen's current team will carry on Karen's great work. We wish her the very best in whatever may come next.

Dr. Karen Hester said:
