Posted at 24/12/2014 10:55 by essential Bought into these first thing. The lay out looks fantastic and the Turkish market is a big beneficiary of the low oil price ie it is an oil importer so their economy should be one of the winners. Already a 10% gain from buying. We shall see |

Posted at 20/1/2011 14:13 by praipus It was about this time last year that they returned some capital to share holders so I just wonder if they might do it again. As you see the drop looks over done if company, property/land values and FX havent done anything particularly nasty since the last interims.Bought a few so that I wont get hurt too much by a sudden drop (or wipe out) but wont miss out on a positive re-rating or a cash back either:-) To some extent I like the fact that it should not correlate with the FTSE/S&P500 ect. |
Posted at 20/1/2011 14:01 by praipus 49% discount seems a bit steep especially when the fund has been giving cash back to share holders from time to time. Your statement "The quality of the fund is the question." made me wonder: a) if there is some serious issue that you know about or b) if there was something obviously wrong that I hadnt noticed. |

Posted at 05/5/2007 01:34 by istamato With expected PER of 4 and Net Asset Value of 120p, for 2008 when its projects mature, shouldn't OTM be trading significantly higher? I bought 3000 shares at 102p but this prolonged inertia puzzles me and I'm wondering whether I'm missing a trick here. Any thoughts? |
Posted at 21/1/2006 15:24 by lbo The fund has been set up to provide early stage wholesale financing to developers of new-build residential developments in the major cities and coastal destinations in Turkey. The fund's investment scope will also invlude land purchase and joint venture projects with local and other partners.Bought and sold for quick 20% profit. This is one to get more information on and watch. Interesting exposure to Turkey and the fact that the Turkish Lira has not depreciated as fast as was expected leading up to Turkey joining the EU.
