ANYONE STILL HERE?

I got left holding the baby i.e didnt sell out

I've now recieved a share certificate in the post for 1,500 nominal shares, worth 150 CHF.

How can i find out current value?
and most important, how can i sell these things now that they're not listed on AIM?

Feeling desperate, even though I know its probably only a couple of hundred pounds in total.

Any help appreciated
thanks

Requisition of Extraordinary General Meeting

The Board of the Company announces that it yesterday received a written requisition notice from the Company's Chief Executive and major shareholder, Sandro Camilleri, (the "Requisition Notice") to convene an extraordinary general meeting of the Company (the "EGM").

Mr Camilleri holds 5,562,000 shares or 18.43% of the Company directly. In addition to his personal shareholding, Sandro Camilleri wholly owns and controls S.C.L. Holdings SA, owns a majority holding in Manplus Holding PTE Ltd and controls Ramada Holdings Pte Ltd and Barnfield-SGPC LDA. The total amount of shares in the Company which Mr Camilleri is deemed to control is, therefore, 19,688,277 or 65.24% of the total issued share capital.

Mr Camilleri has requested that a special resolution be put to shareholders at the EGM to cancel the admission of the Company's shares to trading on AIM.

The directors of the Company are preparing a circular which will be made available to all shareholders and will set out further information relating to and arising from the Requisition Notice. In accordance with the Companies Act 2006 the directors are required to post the notice of the EGM within 21 days from receipt of the written requisition.

Just as I thought - see post #124 above !

Glad that I never invested here and hope that a few that did are not still holding any shares. Delisting is always a risk when there is a dominent individual shareholder with more than 50% of the shares.

mention in moneyweek - looks interesting. Need to restore confidence with solid figs and new contracts.
Improved newsflow as touched on before would not go amiss.
Watching and waiting

Not sure i agree with ceo's opinion about being the only option for embedded chip card designs.
The following white paper was produced in 2001 by Datacard and the development is now well advanced if not complete.
Surely this must have a huge impact on mat potential.

Share price down by 60% since they listed on AIM last year.
Sales in 2007 flat and a 2006 PTP of E1.8m was turned into a loss of E1.4m.

Can't see a compelling investment case yet which is why I've still not invested here !

well at least an RNS to support the price now. Suppose MAT didnt really track down with the general market, so a bit of catch up was due.

Extremely grim set of results led me to dump my 10k shares this morning at 63p. I should have taken your lead GHF and sold out as soon as they issued the last statement. In hindsight you can see this has been pumped and dumped by management. The £1 share purchase by directors was just to pump the share price up. Especially when they were aware first quarter trading had gone badly. Costs are totally out of control as well.

Its been a hard lesson over the last few months for me regarding small caps. Evasive directors from companies based overseas engaging in strange share dealings should have a red light warning.

Apologies if anyone brought in following my email reply from the company. Looking back the comment that trading was going well was patently untrue. I might consider forwarding it to the FSA but I wouldn't expect anything to come of it.

There have been a lot of sells over the last week or so. I would imagine it was down to those buying at below 70p or so taking a small turn. I was amazed how well the bid held up considering previous falls and market jitters. That meant stock has now become available and share price are able to offer 15k. They were offering them at 79p yesterday so Im not really sure why they have had a change of heart today by bunking up the offer. Maybe their large seller has said no more selling and so they are now waiting for a higher price for whatever stock they have left to shift. I will email the company later today to ask when the AGM is and whether we will get a trading statement to go with it. That should be bullish enough and be enough to bump the share price up again.

Kaitech controlled the almost entire shareholding of MATICA (now about 50%). The decision to quote MAT was to cash in and invest to buy the remaining of gruppo pro. Kaitech last results were not that good (hence the drop in share price from 48 to abot 40). Matica was the most interesting bit of Kaitech.

Well all we have to go on is last years H1 which showed a PAT of £300K on £4m sales. Conservatively doubling that for the full year (hopefully H2 would have shown growth on H1) produces a PAT of £600K on £8m sales. That puts them on an historic PE of around 15 and they are also debt free.

We need to see full year 2006 results and get some guidance/forecasts for 2007. Current share price does not look expensive on the pro forma historic equation but I think that we need to see a little bit more meat on the bone in order to get a better forward perspective.

Share price has declined by around 15% over the past few days on an overall volume of around just 54,000. Without any newsflow small trades will sharply impact the share price.

Aim man
dont want to appear too negative but look at MAT share price at the beginning of Jan you could have brought MAT @10p and at the end of January you could have said exactly what you are saying now with VTB up from 10p to about 18p up 80% look at the share price now. I am not saying that is what will happen with VTB but dont get too attached to any share a if you sell and they keep rising you havent actually lost anything if you take 30% profit you have got 30% profit in your bank not on paper.

All the best and good luck

Sam
