Notice of AGM, Distribution of Annual Report and Director appointment

Mwana Africa PLC today gives notice of its 2015 Annual General Meeting ("AGM") to be held on

29 September 2015 at 2pm at Broadway House, Tothill Street, London, SW1H 9NQ.

The AGM Notice, Proxy Form and Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 March 2015 are today being distributed to shareholders. Copies of the AGM Notice and Annual Report will be available on the Company's website or at the Company's registered office, 1 Catherine Place, London, SW1E 6DX.

At the AGM, a resolution will be put to shareholders to appoint Ching Fung "Brian" Hung to the board as a Non-Executive Director.

Brian Hung, 31, is currently Executive Director of Jimei International Entertainment Group Limited and is Executive Director of China Bio Cassava Holdings Limited, which are both listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. He has been Financial Controller of Jimei Group since 2010 and worked as an auditor at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu and at Grant Thornton from 2007 to 2010.

Mr Hung became a full member of CPA Australia in October 2011 and holds a Bachelor's Degree in Commerce from Macquarie University in Australia.

Commenting on the appointment, Yat Hoi Ning, Executive Chairman said:
